Welcome to the Sounds room.

above.
Here's the rundown on what's inside: Black Nile: This is my chart on Wayne Shorter's great tune. It features the Note's trombone section with solos by (in order) Jeff Martin, Joe Jackson, and yours truly. Hark the Herald: From the Airmen of Note's CD, A Holiday Note From Home. This chart of mine features monster solos by trumpeter Rich Sigler and trombonist Jeff Martin. (Better) Go Tell It On the Mountain: Also from A Holiday Note, this great arrangement by the Note's own Alan Baylock gives me a chance to play, after some fancy bass clarinet work by Doug Morgan. ESP: From the Note's latest project, Out In Front. All the great charts on this cd are by Alan Baylock and each features a single soloist. Take 5: Of all things...a salsa version of Take 5 in 4 with vocals. Hmmm. This recording of Joe Jackson's cool arrangement was made of the Note at the Hartford Jazz Festival. It Don't Mean A Thing: Just a snippet...one of my live solos with the Note.
